Knäckebröd is a traditional Nordic crispbread — eaten across Scandinavia for centuries as an everyday staple. Four seeds pressed flat and slow-baked. That's it. Not a diet product, not a health trend. Just real food with a short ingredients list.
We make it in Bangalore. Because it didn't exist here, and it should.
Who made this
Dr. Dhanalakshmi spent years studying how food, movement and the body interact — not as a hobbyist, but as a trained clinician with a Master's degree in Community Health from the University of Oslo and a PhD in Physical & Mental Wellbeing under the EU's Marie Curie programme in Slovakia, Italy and the Netherlands..
She's also a dentist and a yoga therapist. She has spent her career at the intersection of preventive medicine and daily behaviour — and food is where that intersection is most visible and most neglected.
"I started this because I couldn’t find real food that fit how I actually wanted to live — clean, nutritious, convenient, versatile, and above all, genuinely tasty. Because food only becomes part of your life when you actually enjoy eating it. So I made my own, starting with the cracker."
